Performing at Fashion Week Season 10 for the Syed designer round by Jupiter Events was an unforgettable experience. Collaborating with renowned choreographers Jackie Besterwitch and Faheem, I had the unique opportunity to blend my craft with the elegance of the runway. My saxophone solos intertwined with the striking visual artistry of Syed Shahid Creations, adding a musical dimension to the stunning designs.Wearing an exquisite tuxedo by Syed Shahid, the performance was as much about style as it was about sound, an incredible fusion of music and fashion that truly made the night stand out

Teaming up with the electrifying Bluebird Band, I had the pleasure of diving into the realms of rock and funk at Hard Rock Café, Chennai. Our set was a powerhouse of energetic tunes that got the crowd on their feet. It was an exciting blend of tight rhythms, gritty solos, and infectious grooves that showcased the versatility of both the band and the music.Playing with Bluebird was an experience that fused my jazz roots with the raw energy of rock and funk, making the night unforgettable for everyone in the room.

I had the pleasure of featuring with the Stacato Band for the SaReGaMa Let's Go Live event, held at the iconic Lady Andal Auditorium. The night was a tribute to timeless Indian classics, and we performed a captivating set of songs from the legendary SaReGaMa record label. It was an amazing experience to blend the rich heritage of Indian music with our unique jazz-infused interpretations.

For over two decades, Chennai has been a thriving hub for jazz, with the Madras Jazz Festival being the heartbeat of its rhythm. This year, Epistrophy took the stage at Gears and Garage, delivering a knockout performance that breathed new life into jazz classics. The band, featuring jazz saxophonist Wesley Crispus, child prodigy Amithav Gautham, bass guitar maestro B.B. Bhuyan, and the dynamic drummer Soundar Rajan, captivated the audience with their electrifying renditions of timeless jazz standards. With an unmatched blend of talent, Epistrophy showcased the city's passion for jazz, proving once again why Chennai remains at the forefront of India’s jazz culture.

As the frontman, I guided the musicians through a captivating set that paired beautifully with the evening’s elegant ambiance. Our trio brought a dynamic blend of jazz and soulful rhythms, making the night a sophisticated celebration of music and fine wine.

I had a significant career milestone as it was my first time performing with a big band, none other than the renowned Staccato Band. Led by RH Vikram, the band brought immense energy to the stage, and Vikram himself introduced me to the vibrant Chennai audience. Collaborating with such a talented group of musicians in front of a live audience was exhilarating, blending my jazz style with the band’s dynamic sound.That performance wasn’t just about the music; it was about stepping into a larger musical landscape, and connecting with an audience that embraced every note. It was an unforgettable experience that continues to inspire my work today.
